Did you buy tickets to Paris? It is time to think about accommodation, a super important item of the trip. Usually, you go for a walk all day, so at the end of the day, you are just thinking of a comfortable place to relax. Hotels are not lacking in Paris; however, not all are good options or take proper care of the guest. Especially if it’s a romantic trip, like a honeymoon or wedding anniversary, for example.
So today’s post is to share the experience I had recently in a well-located hotel (you’ll see below.) It is perfect for couples who want to add a bit of romanticism to the trip. 😉
Discovering the Hotel Napoléon
For starters, this five-star hotel is situated on the outskirts of the famous Champs-Elysées avenue and glued to the Arc de Triomphe. Not enough, the top floor rooms overlook our darling Eiffel Tower.
In addition to its location, the facilities of the Napoléon hotel also caught my attention. Starting with the most classic decoration that transports us to a Parisian era, followed by the friendly and super attentive reception. Even a nice gentleman came to receive us and gave us magazines and guides of the city.
The hotel also has spacious rooms and family rooms, bar, fitness room, parking and all traditional services like breakfast and free wifi.
My experience at Napoléon Hotel Paris
As I mentioned, I had a good impression right at the entrance of the hotel. But the highlight was our room, and all the details thought to please us. There were heart-shaped balloons on the bed and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. I found it lovely!
In addition to the beautiful king-size bed, there was a comfy sofa, a walk-in closet, and a delightful French-made L’Occitane bathtub. After a nice long bath, we took advantage of the super balcony view from the room overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
During our stay, a person came to our room just to know if everything was and without we needed anything. The next day we had the option of having breakfast in the restaurant or in the room. Obviously, we chose the room … hehe. Ahh, what a breakfast! Lots of real delights and orange juice (so simple in Brazil, but hard to find in Paris – which I love).
Anyway, my husband and I had an enjoyable experience, so I highly recommend the Hotel Napoléon. =)
♥ Tip: If you plan on spending your honeymoon in Paris and don’t want to break your budget, my suggestion is to book at least one night at this hotel. Leave a note on the reservation explaining that, and they will add a special touch to the couple’s room. 😉
